Questions GAT-B students ask
What's in the GAT-B test series?
Full mocks in the real Sections A and B pattern, unit tests for each unit, and section tests that give you Section A or Section B on its own. New ones are added through the year. After each test you see your score by section, subject and topic.
What is the difference between the two plans?
Nothing, except the exams. Manthan Pro: GAT-B gives you everything in Pro for GAT-B only. Pro gives you the same for all 4 Pro exams.
Does it follow the pattern of the next exam?
Yes. The mocks follow the pattern in the latest official notice for May 2027. If the pattern changes, the mocks change with it.
Can I practice Section A and B separately?
Yes. Section tests give you each section on its own, with its real marking: +1 and −0.5 in Section A, +3 and −1 in Section B, where you answer any 60 of 100.
Is the test series in monthly plans?
No. The test series comes with annual plans only: Manthan Pro: GAT-B, or Manthan Pro.
Does my plan renew automatically?
No. Payment is one-time. Nothing is charged again unless you buy again.
Which subjects can I test?
All 22 subjects of the GAT-B syllabus.
Are these the real GAT-B papers?
Yes. Each paper has the questions as they were asked in that exam, in the same sections and order.
Are the papers timed and marked like the real exam?
Yes. 3 hours, Sections A and B, the same "attempt any" rule in Section B and the same negative marking.
Do free papers use my 5 free tests?
No. Past papers and topic sets don't count. Only tests you create count.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. Sign up with Google or email. No card needed.
How do I practice a topic that isn't in the free sets?
Pick its subject under "Every other topic". It opens Test Manthan with that subject chosen.
