Questions students ask
In 2024 and 2025, the paper had 75 Life Sciences questions, all compulsory, for 300 marks. Each right answer gets +4 and each wrong answer −1. The 2024 paper was 105 minutes and the 2025 paper 90 minutes.
Yes. From 2021 to 2023 the paper had 100 questions in 2 hours: 25 on general aptitude and language (Part A) and 75 on Life Sciences (Part B), for 400 marks. From 2024 the aptitude part was dropped and only the 75 Life Sciences questions remain.
Across the Life Sciences questions of these 6 papers, Molecular Biology comes the most (68 questions), then Tools & Techniques (60), Biochemistry (50) and Microbiology (41).
